This Privacy Policy explains how your personal data is collected, used and protected when you use this website, request a quote, download our checklist, or contact us. It is written to reflect the UAE Personal Data Protection Law (Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021).
Who we are
The data controller is Tahir Bin Yousaf Technical Services L.L.C., which operates the ‘Maawa’ brand from Dubai, United Arab Emirates. For any privacy matter, contact us at hellow@maawa.ae.
Data we collect
We collect only the information you choose to give us. Depending on how you reach us, this may include:
- Quote form — your name, phone number, email, property type, area, move-out date, the restoration selections you make, and any custom notes you add.
- Contact form — your name, phone number, email and message.
- Checklist download — your email address, so we can send you the inspection checklist.
- WhatsApp or phone — the contact details and messages you share when you start a WhatsApp chat or call us.
We do not collect special categories of personal data, and we do not knowingly collect data from children.
How we use your data
We use your data only to:
- prepare and send your fixed quote;
- deliver and schedule the services you request;
- reply to your enquiries and keep you updated about your job;
- send you the checklist when you ask for it.
We do not send marketing messages without your consent, and you can withdraw that consent at any time.
Where your data is processed
A small number of trusted providers help us run the service. We describe them by category, and name only our hosting platform:
- Hosting & infrastructure — this website is hosted on Vercel, which serves the site and processes requests.
- Communication tools — notifications from our forms are delivered to us through our email provider.
- Service delivery partners — the trades and coordinators who carry out your restoration receive only the job details they need.
Each provider receives only what it needs to perform its function and is required to protect your data. Where a provider processes data outside the UAE, we take reasonable steps to ensure a level of protection consistent with the PDPL.
Sharing & no sale of data
We do not sell your personal data, and we never share it for third-party advertising. We share it only with the providers described above, and where we are required to by law or need to establish or defend a legal claim.
How long we keep your data
We keep your data only as long as needed for your enquiry or job, plus any period required to meet our legal, tax and accounting obligations. When it is no longer needed, we delete or anonymise it.
Your rights under UAE law
Under the UAE Personal Data Protection Law (Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021), you have the right to access the personal data we hold about you, to ask us to correct it, and to ask us to delete it. To exercise any of these rights, email hellow@maawa.ae and we will respond within a reasonable time.
Cookies & analytics
This website does not use analytics, advertising or tracking cookies, and we do not track your activity across other websites. We do not run third-party analytics scripts. Our hosting platform may set a small number of strictly necessary cookies to serve the site securely and reliably. If we introduce analytics in future, we will update this policy and describe the tool here before it goes live.
